FIFA's statement for the situation in Indonesia..

Based on the FIFA.com that has been decided few hours ago. The summary decision are:



1. The PSSI should organise the general assembly on 26 March 2011 to elect the electoral commission and adopt an electoral code based on the FIFA standard electoral code. The electoral commission will then organise elections before 30 April 2011.
2. In addition, if the PSSI is not able to regain control of the breakaway league, the case will be submitted to the FIFA Executive Committee for a potential suspension.
3. The Executive Committee has also acknowledged that the PSSI Appeal Committee has invalidated the application of the four candidates running for PSSI presidency.
4. No new decision or new actions were decided during these meetings.

Most are what the people expected in Indonesia, but i hope that , and maybe also most people wanted that there will be new decision about prohibition of Nurdin Halid, the current chairman of PSSI,who has also known as ex- prisoner of sugar's corruption case to reelect and nominate again in the next election PSSI's chairman.

 Although in the third point states that FIFA has also "acknowledged" the PSSI Appeal Committee. As we know that the  PSSI Appeal Committee, led by politic analyst, Prof. Cipta Lesmana has invalidated all the decision of the PSSI Election Committe.

The decision of the  PSSI Appeal Committee has invalidated the decision of the PSSI Election Committee that has validate the two nominates: Nirwan D. Bakrie and Nurdin Halid, both of them have known as the pro status quo of PSSI. And in the same time, the  PSSI Appeal Committee has also rejected the appeal request from other candidates: Arifin Panigoro and General George Toisuta, they have been known as the pro revolution. It means that the committee that led by Prof Cipta has brought the conflict back to "the zero condition" and all the situation could be taken by PSSI or the status quo. And that is what the people are afraid of , or can be said that the PSSI can do anything what they wants. Maybe PSSI can nominates Nurdin Halid again, whereas the major concern of demonstration is to reject Nurdin Halid to become the nominate of PSSI chairman.

If the bad things will happen in the next PSSI election, it could more chaotic event and more demonstration come in the PSSI headquarter in Senayan. And of course, Indonesian football will have drowning again just like the current condition or maybe getting worse.
